give it form.
Since our founding in 1977, Orient Industry has pursued the creation of female figures
that resonate with the human heart and bring a sense of peace.
We value not only exquisite craftsmanship and realistic material textures
but also the comforting sense of security that arises from their quiet presence by one's side.

SINCE
OUR STORY
A journey spanning half a century
Orient Industry was founded in Ueno, Tokyo, in 1977.
From the very beginning, our consistent goal has been to create something that resonates with the human heart and brings a sense of quiet peace.
Through a process of trial and error, we have continuously refined our materials, structures, and craftsmanship, building a unique legacy of creation that endures to this day.
Leadership
Message from the Representative
President and Representative Director
Yuya Okamoto
Japan possesses many traditional techniques that are the pride of the nation;
however, it is deeply regrettable that these traditions are gradually fading away,
partly due to the impact of a declining birthrate and an aging population.
Orient Industry’s own history, spanning nearly half a century,
once faced a precarious situation where its very survival hung by a thread.
Yet, through a fateful encounter with the founder,
we were entrusted with carrying on this proud Japanese craftsmanship
and the culture of "beloved dolls."
We deeply cherish and uphold the passionate desire to bring "peace of mind" to people,
the firm resolve to protect both our traditional techniques and our employees,
and the unwavering commitment never to disappoint our customers.
Looking ahead, we earnestly hope to carry this legacy into the future,
evolving our technology to serve the fields of medicine and welfare.
As a vital part of Japanese culture—spanning not just fifty years, but a century and beyond—
we are eager to share even more of these new "beloved dolls" with Japan and the world.
We remain dedicated to creating new works that move and inspire our customers,
and we strive for continued growth.
We humbly ask for your continued support.
